House Guidelines

A Puerta Cerrada is a privately operated hospitality residence designed for adults seeking a quiet, curated and respectful environment. By confirming a reservation, guests acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to comply with these House Guidelines. Failure to comply may result in additional charges, termination of the reservation and removal from the property without refund.

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
 

Early check-in and late check-out requests must be approved in advance and are subject to availability. Unauthorized late departures may result in additional charges equivalent to an additional night stay.

Only guests listed in the reservation are permitted to access or stay at the property.

For security, insurance and operational reasons, unregistered guests are not permitted without prior written approval.
 

Any unauthorized guest may incur an additional charge of USD $150 per person, per night.

Failure to disclose additional guests may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

The maximum occupancy established for each space must be respected at all times.
 

Exceeding the approved occupancy limit without authorization constitutes a violation of these guidelines and may result in additional charges or termination of the reservation.

A Puerta Cerrada has been designed primarily for adults and is not specifically equipped for young children.
 

For safety, operational and guest experience reasons, children are not permitted unless previously approved in writing by the host.

Pets and animals of any kind are not permitted on the property.
 

Unauthorized pets may result in additional cleaning fees, damage charges and immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.

Guests are expected to treat the residence, furnishings, artwork, plants, decorative objects, appliances and amenities with care and respect.
 

Any damage beyond normal wear and tear must be reported immediately.
 

Guests are financially responsible for repair, replacement, restoration or professional cleaning costs resulting from damage caused during their stay.

A Puerta Cerrada is located within a residential neighborhood.
 

Guests are expected to respect neighbors and the surrounding community at all times.
 

Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
 

Excessive noise, loud music, disruptive behavior or activities that disturb neighboring properties are strictly prohibited.

Parties, open-invitation events, large gatherings and unauthorized celebrations are not permitted.

Any gathering beyond the approved reservation occupancy requires prior written approval from the host.

Failure to obtain approval may result in immediate termination of the reservation without refund.

Commercial photography, filming, content production, workshops, retreats, brand activations, corporate meetings and professional events require prior written approval.

Additional fees, deposits, insurance requirements and specific conditions may apply.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all indoor areas of the property.
 

Any damages, odors, professional cleaning requirements or remediation costs resulting from smoking violations will be charged to the guest.

Guests are expected to use all indoor and outdoor spaces responsibly and at their own risk.
 

Any areas such as rooftops, terraces, stairs, gardens or outdoor amenities should be used with caution and respect for the property and other guests.

Guests are responsible for securing doors, windows, keys and personal belongings during their stay.
 

A Puerta Cerrada is not responsible for loss, theft, damage or disappearance of personal property brought onto the premises.

Guests may be charged for, including but not limited to:
 

• Damage to the property or its contents.
• Missing items.
• Excessive cleaning requirements.
• Smoking violations.
• Unauthorized guests.
• Unauthorized events or gatherings.
• Violations of these House Guidelines.
 

Applicable charges may be deducted from any security deposit and/or invoiced separately.
