Entre Volcanes – Zone 10

Located inside a plant nursery, this is a perfect escape for plant lovers. Great for working, reading, or spending a quiet afternoon surrounded by greenery.

Drenx – Zone 15

A modern coffee shop with good coffee, pastries, and a clean, minimalist feel.

Snackbar – Zone 15

One of our favorite restaurants in Zone 15. Cozy, consistently delicious, and perfect for a rainy-day lunch.

Amano – Zone 1

Set inside an old house in the Historic Center, Amano has a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and a beautiful local feel.

One of Guatemala City's most memorable dining experiences. Chef Debora Fadul creates beautiful tasting menus inspired by Guatemalan ingredients in a stunning architectural setting. We chose Diacá to cater the dinner for our intimate wedding, making it a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Flor de Lis – Zone 4

A true must while visiting Guatemala City. Chef Sergio Díaz reimagines Guatemalan flavors through an award-winning tasting menu that beautifully celebrates the country's culinary traditions.

Sublime – Zone 14

An elegant restaurant with beautifully presented dishes and a refined atmosphere. A wonderful choice for a special evening.

Gracia – Zone 10

One of our favorite places for a relaxed yet elevated dinner. Thoughtfully prepared dishes, beautiful interiors, and consistently excellent service.

Ambia – Zone 10

A lively restaurant with creative food, great cocktails, and an energetic atmosphere that makes every dinner feel like a celebration.

Omakase Room – Zone 15

A unique Japanese omakase experience where every course is prepared in front of you. Reservations are highly recommended.

Surrounded by nature, Margo is one of the best places to escape the city. Visit around sunset to enjoy one of the most beautiful panoramic views in Guatemala City.

Antigua Cerveza – Zone 10

One of our favorite spots for craft beer in Guatemala City. Hidden on a quiet street in Zone 10, it's easy to miss but well worth finding. The relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to spend an afternoon enjoying a flight of local beers or simply unwinding after a day of exploring.

Oakland Place

In our opinion, one of the most beautiful shopping malls in Central America. Alongside international brands, you'll find local boutiques, cafés, bookstores, and beautifully designed spaces that make it enjoyable even if you're not planning to shop.

Mercado Central

One of the best places to experience everyday life in Guatemala City while shopping for traditional crafts, spices, textiles, and local souvenirs.

Mercado de Artesanías

Our favorite place to shop for Guatemalan handicrafts. It's clean, well organized, easy to navigate, and many vendors accept credit cards. In fact, many of the pieces you'll find decorating The Green House were purchased here.

Tomo – Zone 10

One of those unexpected places you'll be happy you discovered. Part bookstore, part concept store, Tomo specializes in beautifully curated editorial books, design, and lifestyle objects. On Friday and Saturday evenings, they often play vinyl records, creating a cozy and effortlessly cool atmosphere.

Solo. – Zone 14

One of our favorite concept stores in the city. It's a wonderful place to discover contemporary Guatemalan design, locally made products, and unique pieces you won't find anywhere else.

La Popular – Zone 4

A beautifully curated concept store featuring local designers, home décor, books, ceramics, and unique gifts.

Demuseo – Zone 1

A place that's simply fun to explore. You'll find books, incense, home décor, ceramics, art, and beautifully curated objects. Even if you're not looking to buy anything, it's well worth a visit.
